Teri’s approach to bar and bat mitzvah photography is about blending the traditional with the photojournalistic. Traditional because this is a rite of passage that is generations old, and journalistic because we’re capturing a day in the here and now, with warmth and joy.

As photojournalists in New York City for over 15 years, our approach is to capture bar and bat mitzvah stories in a low-key and unobtrusive manner. By listening to what’s important to our clients, we arrive prepared and ready to go. We note special pictures with family and friends and prep all the logistics, so everyone can relax and have fun!

Pricing is flexible and ala carte. Packages may include prints, digital files, and traditional or digital albums. Online photo galleries are available so the pictures can be shared with friends and family around the world.

Over the years in NYC, we’ve worked at Temple Emanuel, Rodolph Shalom, B’nai Jeshruan, Central Synagogue, Shaaray Tefila and the Village Temple. We’ve covered parties at most of NY’s favorite locations and lofts including Bridgewaters, Tribeca Rooftop, Chelsea Piers Lighthouse, the Penn Club, the Angel Oransanz Center, the Ritz Carleton, Scaletta, the University Club, the Metropolitan Club, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the Rainbow Room, the Yale Club, Wave Hill, Tappan Hill and the St. Regis, among others. We are happy to travel to New Jersey, Connecticut, LI, Westchester and the Hamptons.
